Saturday was a slow start but the fish were on and hot on Sunday.

This summer, we have tagged 7 fish in Port O with satellite tags. Three were tagged three weeks ago (2 in the bay, one on the beach) and yesterday, four got tagged (all in the Gulf).

The two we tagged off my boat went 170 lbs and 145 lbs. Good fish.

We ended up with five fish on my boat for the day. Sorry no jumping pictures.

Mike Montiero caught six fish over two weekends to win the amateur division. Jim Farley was second with four fish and there were lots who caught a single fish. Hunter Neblett wins the most tarpon tagged by a tie breaker because although others tagged a single fish too, he tagged one first and wins the tie-breaker that way.

All in all a good day yesterday and one for the books. See pics below. (note the cabbagehead in one of the photos)

Scott Thanks for having me along, its always a great time fishing with you. You did a fantastic job with yet another tournament. People really have no clue how amazing tarpon fishing is. This weekend was one of the best times I have ever had on the water. Incredible! Here are a few more pics.

This is the only "jump" we got with my camera. I think this was the fish Scott caught on his Tarpon Tomorrow Rod and Spinning Reel.

I had a good time this weekend. Went 0-0 on sat and 1-4 on Sunday. Had the big camera and couldn't zoom out to get the whole fish in the frame. Here a few from the tag boat. Thanks for a great tournament.

Very cool Pictures Marc! Thank goodness for those South Chatham locking lip Gaffs. I believe the good folks over there donated them last year to Mrs. Cleo. I know they made my life a lot easier yesterday. Thanks Bob! Little donations make a big difference! DM
