I agree, real nice video. Thanks for posting it. That rod looked like it more than did the trick.

Don - the rod was awesome. I think our longer rod buts really have some advantages. (1) the casting is much farther than rods of similar lengths; (2) fighting is actually easier. While it may seem a little odd at first [the reel sits farther away from you and it takes some getting used to cranking up that hight] the advatages during the fight outweigh those differences. For example, when fighting a tarpon, we all know most of the fight is down to a side, not pulling up on the fish. This is often hard to do with a rod in a fighting belt. When you get tired of the belt, you can easily pull this rod out and stick it under an arm. With it under an arm, pulling sideways on a fish is easy. The extra rod butt length is perfect for that. Just perfect. Everything is a trade off and if anybody will be patient with one of these longer rod butts, they will find that when push comes to shove in fighting a tarpon - this rod is the best "ticket" out there. Thanks for all your hard work.

I just got more blanks in yesterday, am going to start more in production when I get back into town Monday.
