Anyone think it will be worth heading out Monday? Seas look fair but but the winds don't. Make for a hard drift.

Nice sword! Well, there is one thing consistent - the size and weight of these. Who will win the race to the 200#+???

Yep, we'll have to wait on Mother Nature to let us get to the center of the tootsie pop but its near Smile Did you get a chance to watch Versus today since SF Magazine had the swordfish series which a 233 took the prize for the several day Islamorada tourny? There has to be some monsters in the deep and perhaps we will scare one up for the WWI.

Dan, when will the award ceremony take place (date). My nephew in Wisconsin has me in his wedding on April 17th and I have a funny feeling that will probably be the date. I sure would hate to miss that event.

Hey Dave,

Just saw this. That is when I was planning to have it. That is the weekend following tax day. I am a little worried that if we put it off too long participation will start dwindling. Let me think about it are you gone the whole weekend?

Dan, no worries since I think you should have it as close to the tournament end as possible. I still haven't gotten a formal invite to my nephews wedding but I know he wants me in it so I will enjoy the pics and stories of the party.

Here are the pics I have, every time I took a pic of the scale it would bounce to 194lb but we called the fish at 193lb.

This fish was one of the fattest I have ever seen, he taped out a 161lb. Maybe we need to come up with a fat gulf fish formula.LOL
