Texas Fishing Reports - - cubera Red Bait Fish - Strange weekend. Got in the water about 72 NM out and was instantly greeted by a big turtle. Descended to roughly 60 ft and there was HUGE tarpon probably 7-8 ft long just sitting in the middle of the rig.

We do some reallly neat stuff over here in Texas also. Have you ever been diving around oil rigs? We also have the flower gardens that are somewhat accessible....almost every imaginable species of grouper can be found there, along with some hogfish, lots of different snappers etc.
